Sam’s Club Gift Card Discounts & other deals (possible teacher gift ideas)

If you have a Sam’s Club membership, I always like to browse the gift card discounts.  This is a fabulous way to save money.    I went to my local Sam’s Club and took some pictures of what gift card promotions they have.  The best ones are listed below:

Chili’s $85.98 for $100 worth of gift cards

Old Chicago $79.98 for $100 worth of gift cards

Zaxby’s $39.98 for $50 worth of gift cards

Boston Market $39.98 for $50 worth of gift cards

Steak ‘n Shake $39.98 for $50 worth of gift cards (2 X 25 gift cards)

Buca di Beppo $74.98 for $100 worth of gift cards (4 X 25 gift cards)

Cold Stone Creamery $39.98 for $50 worth of gift cards (5 X 10 gift cards)

Krispy Kreme $39.98 for $50 worth of gift cards (2X25 gift cards)

Studio Movie Grill $39.98 for $50 worth of gift cards (2X25 gift cards)

Flix Brewhouse $39.98 for $50 worth of gift cards (2×25 gift cards)

Regal, AMC $39.98 for $50 worth of gift cards (2X25 gift cards)

One way you can make these into smaller gifts are certain retailers will allow you to buy smaller gift card denominations so these could make great teacher gifts if you have multiple teachers to buy for!  I would definitely advise calling the retailer ahead of time as some retailers/restaurants will not allow you to buy gift cards with other gift cards.

In addition to these great savings, they did have other gift cards which were slightly discounted but not as great of a deal as these other ones which are 20-25% off the retail price of the gift cards (see the Starbucks picture for example).  However, if you have a Discover card with a 5% cashback category this quarter at Sam’s Club, you can save additional money if you have activated your bonus or a Chase Freedom if you have selected and activated this 5% bonus for this quarter.

Also, I saw a couple of clearance deals worth posting.  There is a 20 piece Tomodachi knife set marked down to $9.81.  Plus stoneware bowls with handles also marked down to $9.81.  This was taken at the 86th Street NW Indianapolis Sam’s Club.   Your selection of gift cards and clearance items will vary depending on which store you go to.

Barnes and Noble: Clearance 75% off red dot plus events at the Carmel location

Barnes and Noble has a red dot clearance sale going on at select locations.  I visited our local one to see what items they had.  They had everything from  books to picnic bags to toys.  Typically what does not sell from this sale ends up at a $2 sale, but the inventory is usually very picked over by then.   The Carmel location address and phone number:  Greyhound Plaza
14790 Greyhound Plaza
Carmel, IN 46032

Also, I saw while I was there some advertisements for some local events coming up.  The one event takes place this Friday, October 14th at 6:30 for a book signing from a local author at the Carmel location.  Details:
