Do you live near a Costco and wear contact lenses? I discovered earlier this year if I ordered a year’s worth of contacts, I could get a $50 cash card back from Costco. Costco prices are some of the lowest I have found (comparable to Sam’s Club), but when I combine the 2% back from an Executive Membership at Costco, 2% back from having the Costco credit card, plus the $50 cash card their prices cannot be beat. I recently went to order my husband’s contacts (a completely different brand) and found out by accident when you order 6 months of contacts, you may get a $33 cash rebate card. When I go back in six months and order six months’ worth of contacts for him again, I’ll see if I can get another $33 cash rebate card. The manager at the vision center said it made no sense to her why the rebate was better for six months, but she gave me the cash card. I am not sure if this is only for certain brands, but if you wear contacts and are a Costco member this may be something to look into. We have vision insurance as well, but we did need to file our own claim since Costco was out of network for our vision plan.

If you live near a Meijer and have any shopping you need to do, there is a great $5 off $50 coupon which starts tomorrow and goes through Monday. This coupon can be used multiple times so if you have more than one $50 order, you can save $5 each time. You may want to take a look around and see what other coupons you spot. I saw some coupons for shoes for the family, as well as a 10% off general merchandise coupon in mine. I also love the auto-clipping feature. It is very handy when there is a coupon auto-clipped so you may want to sign-up for that feature so you never miss the big coupons Meijer offers. Just make sure to enter your Meijer mPerks each and every time you shop there. You can clip the coupons here: https://mperks.meijer.com/mperks?signin=false&cmpid=Og:SEM:mPerks:mPerks_Brand:Brand:meijer+mperks:BING

Right now is the time to sign-up for your local library summer reading program! I really love these programs, but it’s only been recently I’ve been able to take more time for myself to read non-parenting books. My local library made changes for this year’s reading program. You can earn points for visiting a park in Hamilton County. You can earn a point for playing a board game. You can earn a point for reading a magazine. You can donate a book to the Little Library collection and earn a point. You can also sign-up as a family or as individuals and log the points online. You can go see a movie based on a book and earn a point. Each library is unique in how they run their program, but I highly recommend everyone sign-up for theirs. Often prizes are free offers from local restaurants, a chance to win gift cards, free books, and tons more. Plus it’s a lot of fun and completely free! For my local friends, the sign-up to the Carmel reading program is here: http://www.carmel.lib.in.us/challenge/.
I love summer reading programs! Barnes and Noble is having one again this year and the only requirement is filling out a form when your child has read 8 books this summer! The program is for children in grades 1-6 and they will receive a free book upon completion. There is a form for the child to fill out with the title of the book, the author, and also who your child would recommend to read the particular book that he/she has read. Details can be found here: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/u/summer-reading/379003570. Thanks Felicia for the tip!
If you live near a Walgreens and want to get a free 8X10 photo print, simply upload and order a 8X10 and use code: FREE2PRINT and pick-up the print at your convenience! I love this photo freebie. It’s great for a gift or for updating your photos around the house.
