I am a scrapbooker. Well, maybe I should say I used to be a scrapbooker when I had lots of time before children. Now that I have children, I have lots of pictures but no scrapbooks of the pictures I have made actually being put into books. I was surprised when I received an email from a local Creative Memories consultant I had purchased some items from a few years ago and it seems that many items are no longer going to be made. Today may be the last day you can order certain products. This is from the Creative Memories organization: This is your last opportunity to order core scrapbook items like pages, protectors, and coversets. The home page can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/creativememories. I have not been following what has been going on so I don’t understand what it means exactly, but it looks like today may be the last day to order these items so if you are like me and have tons of Creative Memories albums, you may want to contact a local consultant to find out when you can last order these items as it may be today!

I am super excited because kids/baby consignment season is upon us! I have had really good experiences with selling my items through kids consignment sales and I will be consigning for the first time in the Just Between Friends sale that will be taking place August 7-August 10 at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds in Noblesville. Details of the sale can be found here: http://northindy.jbfsale.com/homeView.jsp#. One of the reasons I am participating in this particular sale is because this is an all-season sale taking place in August! This means you can consign all seasons of clothing. I have some spring/summer items which I just do not want to hold on to until the spring consignment sales taking place next March in my quest to declutter our house. If you are shopper, make sure to print the free shopping pass as there is a charge to shop the sale on the first day. Or leave a comment/send me an email if you are interested in a free pass and I can send you one. These sales are great because you can find items at greatly discounted prices. The sales are also great if you are trying to get rid of items because you can simply drop off your items and not have to worry about them unless they do not sell, but you can also choose to donate your unsold items to charity if you would like. If you volunteer, you can earn a higher percentage of your sold items. With this sale in Noblesville, just one volunteer shift of four hours changes your commission from 60% to 70%.
Even if you do not live in this area, Just Between Friends is also all over the country and here is the main web site to see if there may be a sale near you: http://www.jbfsale.com/home.jsp
If you live near a Meijer, you may want to sign-up for the free Meijer mPerks program and download some digital coupons. There is a coupon good on Friday, 7/26 and Saturday 7/27 for 5% off groceries and 15% off general merchandise! You can go here to create an account or to log in and clip those coupons: https://mperks.meijer.com/mperks/?cmpid=bing-OVSEM-mPerks|Meijer_Brand_Coupons_MS. You may want to take a look around as there are tons of other ecoupons. You do need a cell phone in order to use mPerks, but you do not need a smart phone. When you are at the checkout lane, make sure to enter your mPerks number and pin and then you need to say yes, you are using the 5% off grocery coupon or the 15% off general merchandise coupon in order for the coupons to actually be used. There seem to be some good sales as well to pair these coupons with. I noticed a gallon of milk is $1.97 in central Indianapolis so paired with the digital coupon would make a great deal on milk.

I had a post a week or so ago about shopping for cell phone plans. We looked at all of the major carriers such as Verizon, Sprint, TMobile, AT&T, but ultimately decided to stick with the company we have been with: Virgin Mobile. We previously had a pay as you go plan, but my husband was needing a phone with texting and internet and we decided to try out the Virgin Mobile IPhone 5. I did some research online and the phone on the Virgin Mobile web site was $549.99, but you could do a payment plan of Bill Me Later and pay the phone off in 6 months. I did find that Radio Shack has a deal good through July 27th where you can trade in any working phone and receive a $50 credit towards the Virgin Mobile IPhone 5 making the phone $499.99.
