Market District freebie Ocean Spray Pact, low lock priced items, and gift card promotion for Indiana Market District shoppers

If you live near a Giant Eagle or Market District, this week’s freebie if you have an eAdvantage card and have registered it online is Ocean Spray Pact.  You just need to present your card upon checkout and the location near me does a good job with putting the free item before you go through the checkout lane.   Also there are a few items which are on Low Lock Prices this week such as Market District Pasta for 98 cents and Giant Eagle canned vegetables for 48 cents.  My favorite promotion comes from the current promotion at Indiana locations for gift cards.  When you buy $50 worth of gift cards in one transaction and have your eAdvantage card scanned, you earn a $5 reward towards shopping your next trip.  You can buy $100 worth of gift cards, and then you will earn two $5 rewards your next shopping trip.  There are so many retailers such as Amazon, Target, Best Buy, Southwest, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Groupon, Disney, and so much more.  I took pictures of the gift cards currently available for purchase at the Carmel Market District.  There are some exclusions to these gift cards.  For example, if you purchase the Market District gift cards, Table gift cards and GetGo gift cards are not eligible for this $5 reward promotion.   I would venture to say the Visa gift cards may not be eligible for this promotion as well, but please check while in-store what the fine print excludes before purchasing the gift cards.img_3396 The gift card idea is great for holiday gifts or if you yourself know you will be making purchases at some of the more popular retailers, it is a great way to stretch your dollar further.

For more details on the gift card promotion available in Indiana only for a limited time, details are below:

$5 Rewards
Offer valid in Indiana only for a limited time. Advantage Card must be scanned at the time of purchase, and must spend $50 on gift cards in a single transaction. Coupon reward will be loaded electronically to the Advantage Card. Market District, GetGo® and table by Market District gift cards are excluded from earning $5 off your next shopping order. $5 rewards cannot be redeemed towards the purchase of any Market District or GetGo gift cards, third party retailer or restaurant gift cards, Visa®, American Express® or MasterCard® gift cards, Visa® or American Express® Serve prepaid reloadable cards, Reload It! prepaid cards, money orders, wire transfers, lottery tickets, stamps, kerosene, tobacco, alcohol, state-and federally-funded pharmacy prescriptions, copy or fax machine services, delivery charges, fundraising activities, donations, or returned check service fees. Kohl’s Gold Star Clearance event going on now from 60-90% off

If you live near a Kohl’s, you may want to check out the gold star clearance event going on now.  At my local Kohl’s in West Carmel, I spied items as much as 90% off of summer items.  There are some great coupons as well you can combine for even greater savings.  First, if you are a Yes2You Rewards Member (it is free to sign-up), you will triple points.   You can take an extra 20% off both in-store and online with a savings pass (you can print this from the Kohl’s web site or show it on your phone) or if you use the code SAVINGS20 online and this coupon ends October 30th.  You can save $10 off $50 by printing a savings pass from Kohl’s web site or showing the Savings Pass on your phone.  This coupon also expires on October 30th and can be combined with the 20% off coupon code.  Plus you can earn $10 Kohl’s cash for every $50 spent through October 30th.  If you are ordering online, you can get free shipping when you spend $75.  I have also heard if you go in-store and order from the kiosk, you can score free shipping regardless of the amount spent.  Or you can also try to see if your item is eligible for in-store pick-up and avoid the shipping costs by picking up your items in-store if they are eligible.  You can print/view the savings passes here:  Kohl’s website.  Some of the items I spied at the West Carmel location on clearance are shown in the pictures.

Another free family event in Carmel

There is also another free family event going on in Carmel on Saturday October 29th from 4 to 7 pm.  The Carmel City Hall Gazebo is hosting food, games, pumpkin decorating, hay rides, a costume parade, music, entertainment, and much more.
If it rains, plan on going next door to the firehouse.  Also, all proceeds will go to the Make a Wish Foundation.

Thanks for the tip Lucy!

If you live near a Walgreens, you can get a free 8X10 photo by using code:  MYSTERY and choose free in-store pick-up for a completely free photo!    This may not work in the Walgreens app. so you may need to order this from a computer.  Also, you do not need to pick up by 10/29, you just need to order it through 10/29.  If you do not live near a Walgreens, you can still order this but you would need to pay shipping and handling charges.  walgreens-free-8-x-10-photo
